It is with deep respect and sadness that we say goodbye to Mr Mark Pustotnik, who passed away in 2012. With his death, he left us part of his legacy and a memory that will last forever.

Marko was born in 1936 in a farming family in Stara vas near Postojna, as the third child. With humble beginnings, he started a journey marked by dedication and hard work. He successfully completed primary school in Postojna and then decided to follow his passion and train as a hairdresser. He continued his education at the vocational school for hairdressers in Ljubljana, where he stayed, and built a life for himself.

After finishing his schooling, he honed his skills as an apprentice at the Šmidt hairdressing salon in Ljubljana. In 1970, with great courage and vision, he opened his own men’s hairdressing salon, which became a place where beauty was nurtured and lasting bonds were forged with his clients. His talent and kindness have earned him the trust and respect of many.

Surrounded by a loving family, he was happily married to his wife Marina, with whom he raised their two children, daughter Vesna and son Mark. His family was his support and joy, and together they shared many beautiful moments that will remain etched in their hearts forever.

Marko Pustotnik was not only a skilled hairdresser, but also a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He reached into the hearts of many with his genuine kindness, and his presence will be deeply missed. He left an indelible mark on his journey through life that will always remain part of our memories.

Rest in peace, dear Marko. Your memory will live on in those of us who loved you.
